Juan Guillermo Becerra

Attorney graduated from Universidad de Los Andes, bilingual (English-Spanish), specialist in International Tax Law from the Universidad Externado de Colombia.

 

He has experience in tax planning for real estate projects, corporate reorganizations, mergers, acquisitions, transactions involving the purchase and sale of assets and corporate ownership interests, commercial cooperation agreements and foreign investment, joint venture agreements and foreign investment structures as well as with national and municipal tax planning. Juan has served as an advisor for the enforcement of international treaties to avoid double taxation and in tax planning for the development of businesses in Colombia. His expertise in strategic tax planning also extends to trust and estate planning for individuals.

 

He has over 15 years of experience in tax practices of top ranked law firms, and in one of the big four audit firms where he provided consulting services in national and municipal tax matters, tax planning, estate planning and structuring of mergers and acquisitions.
